App is great but needs another update
App works great but I think it would be great if when you leave the application open if the app would resume where you left off. Currently if you are on a mixtapes page and switch to another app then back to Datpiff the app refreshes to the main page everytime. It would be nice to resume where I was instead of searching for the mixtape I was listening to or viewing before using another app. Currently if I wish to view a mixtape easily again I have to favorite it so I can get back to it later.
What is also needed is a way to filter new released mixtapes by Official releases only would be great to filter out all the riffraff. That feature I believe is needed. I understand some people might pay to have their mixtape listed first, but I constantly find myself scrolling way down to the bottom of the home page before I find something worth listening to. If I don’t stay on top of the mixtape release dates which is hard because I work everyday then I sometimes miss important mixtape releases and don’t find or hear about them till months later. An official mixtapes tab on the left side of the app would be great and I feel it should be essential.
Other than that the app is great and works very well. Definitely the best mixtapes app for sure.
Download music lag
Not sure if it's the download music I have or what's going but my app is SLOW! It got so frustrating that I went as far as to just leave one song downloaded for each complete mixtape/album originally downloaded loaded just to maybe help with the lag and delay of my music playing but still the same BS. I went downloaded LiveMixTapes which I use as well as MyMixTapes, AudioMac and even Spindarella but when I want official music and the best I use TIDAL. If I delete DatPiff I'll lose all my music.. been there done that but it should be lagging for less than 15 downloaded tapes especially with only a single song on each. The live feature is great it allows me to look at the full albums so need to have the whole tape downloaded but what's the use if we still lagging with one track.. get it together y'all was the best for a while now.. not so much
Pretty impressive
This app has all the albums and mixtapes it has on the website. Plays music when you exit the app AAANNNDD it allows you to change songs too! It’s got ads BUT what you expect for a FREE app.. tf?!? They gotta get bank somewhere.. you can also download the songs and albums too!!
Smooth operating interface too. I like it. I would improve the search song feature to give it more freedom and pick up on close generalizations from key words. It seems sometimes that you have to be pretty exact to find what you want. Other than that.. FREAKIN awesome!
